So I posted about this before how my laptop broke down a few weeks back, well it happened once again and boy was I furious. The other night I was trying to do some homework, which required internet access, and to my suprise my computer wouldn’t connect. I have a wireless setup in my house that allows me to connect anywhere in the house and it just wouldn’t configure.
First things first, I attempted to connect to some other line in the near by area because I really had to get this homework done.
Than all the connections near by were locked so I could not configure and connect.
Now I was really getting annoyed I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I though maybe I accidently switched the wireless radio “off” on my computer, but that wasn’t the case either.
So I decided to ask my dad to try and fix my connection or let me use his computer, but he was using it at the time. He forgot to tell me that when the Verizon FIOS guy came, he switched everything up because we got a new internet service. This meant that I needed to put it new WEP keys, and connect to a different name now.
Lastly I plugged in the 10 digit code, and got my internet back! HOORAY!
